QR Code Size Calculator
Calculate the minimum print size from scanning distance using the 10:1 rule, with an automatic safety margin.
QRDIV's QR code size calculator uses the 10:1 rule — dividing the scanning distance by 10 to get the minimum print size — then adds a 20–30% margin automatically; it also offers presets for business cards, posters, billboards and more, plus quiet-zone and contrast tips.

What's the minimum size? Print resolution tips
A common rule of thumb is "10:1": the QR side length is about one-tenth of the maximum scanning distance. In practice, don't go below 2cm; the more data and the denser the modules, the larger it should be. Print at 300 DPI or higher, keep the quiet zone, and ensure contrast so it really scans once printed.
